Getting a new puppy can be one of the best experiences; they’re super cute, playful, energetic and can provide so much joy in your life! However, it is important to raise them with proper guidance and structure starting Day 1. Freedom is earned with puppies; if freedom is given too easily, puppies can take advantage of that!
The internet is full of advice on raising a puppy; however, that advice can be confusing or contradicting which can lead to confusion for you and your dog. Let us take the stress away by allowing us to board and train your puppy and give them daily training, structure, play time and socialization.
At FullFocusK9, we ensure your puppy gets the proper foundation and training to be an excellent addition to your family. We will give you our free in depth New Puppy Guide as well when you book!
Basic commands and marker words are introduced during our Puppy Board and Train. Basic commands include come, let's go, sit, down, place, off, good, no, and break! We will also introduce various confidence boosting exercises, proofing your puppy environmentally, and proper socialization/neutralization with people/dogs.
Puppy foundation is VERY important long term. Just because your puppy is young does not mean it can't have obedience and good manners! Blaming bad behaviors because of a puppies age is a common thing we run into clients saying and this should never be the case! Puppies can be well mannered while still being able to "be a puppy". Interested in started your puppy off right? We’d love to have you join our puppy pack!
Our Puppy Pre-School Program lasts for 2 weeks, give or take your puppies needs. If you'd like a longer program for more exposure and/or something specific you want worked on with your puppy, we can add a week for $900/week.
Our most popular package! Are you experiencing problem behaviors in your dog like leash pulling, nipping, jumping on people? Is your dog reactive? Want more focus and engagement on you instead of everything else? Does your dog not come when called? Does your dog drag you down the street? Or do you just want all around well-trained dog? Let us do the work for you. This board and train program is available for dogs over 5-6 months to any age!
This Advanced Skills Board and Train is designed to set a solid foundation for you and your dog. Your dog will learn all its basic commands, how to be calm in the home and in public, heel and loose leash walking, on/off leash obedience and of course correcting those unwanted behaviors!
This 2-3 week board and train which will be determined by your training goals for you and your dog. We keep client dogs in our home and take them on neighborhood walks and field trips to various pet friendly stores/parks. This in home environment allows us to train your dog EVERY DAY your dog is with us. It is highly recommended to do a board and train if you do not have the time for lessons. You will not regret getting this training done!
Your only job is to maintain the training once your dog comes home! A go home packet will be provided for you at the turnover lesson so that you can have a reminder sheet on things to work on!
Our Advanced Skills Board and Train Program lasts 2-3 weeks.
A third week is usually needed to be able to proof more advanced obedience and/or if your dog just needs more time to adjust. We go at the dogs pace and try not to rush anything! The third week is of no additional cost to you if we determine it is necessary for your dog.

Do you have a dog that is dog aggressive or extremely reactive to the point you fear something bad might happen, or perhaps it already has, or maybe you’re just afraid to even walk your dog? Is your dog extremely fearful and insecure and needs a lot of confidence building along with obedience training?
This program is designed for dogs that have one or more of the following behavior issues: dog aggression, human reactivity, possession aggression, resource guarding (food, toys, etc), redirected aggression and other aggressive behaviors.
As soon as we get your dog, our work begins. Instead of putting a band-aid or punishing your dogs undesired behaviors, we help them work through their fears. 99% of dogs act out because they have learned this behavior eliminates their fears. We work on this by counter conditioning their fear response, turning something they perceive as scary/bad into something rewarding. Once this behavior is taught and the dog knows what is acceptable, we will hold the dog accountable for their behaviors going forward. Aggression, fear, and reactivity are not easy fixes and on average take a minimum of 4 weeks, depending on the dog.
We will update you on the progress of your dog and advise along the way. When it comes to aggression, nothing can be 100% guaranteed for life. Along with other factors, it is important to realize how much genetics can affect a dog's disposition and in some cases, management through training and obedience may be the best option for you and your dog.
Our Behavior Modification Board & Train typically lasts 4 weeks, depending on the dog they might need longer. The program is goal-oriented and not time based which will help you and your dog in the long run. If we end up determining your dog will need 6 weeks, its an additional $1500 dollars.

We offer a weekly custom board and train tailored specifically to your needs. This is NOT for everyone, so if your dog does not already have previous training, you will not qualify for this package. This package is geared towards clients with a specific need like teaching calm in the home/place, service/assistance/therapy dog training, or long term goals such as solidifying already existing training.
If your dog is already well-trained (has to be determined how well by a trainer in a consult), then you will qualify for this program. Please feel free to reach out via our contact form if you have any questions.
For specific questions and/or long term programs, contact us for pricing.
